Are you a Drummer?

After more than twenty five years as a drummer, and over ten years as an IT Manager and web site designer, building my own site about drums and drumming was irresistable.  I want to to share as much as I can of my playing experience, as well as hear the experiences of everyone else that I can.

There was no WWW or MTV when I was a young drummer.  I hung out at music stores, and watched bands and other drummers whenever I could.  I met a few guys in school, and met others through ads on bulletin boards.  (Yea, real paper and pins, not computer bulletin boards!)  Okay, I’m older than I should be willing to admit.  If anything, maybe that gives me a better appreciation for how well the web brings us all together.   I may have long outgrown the dream of becoming a superstar on stage, but I will always be a drummer.  I will always love to play!
